a cousin of mine asked me, "why do these things? ba't ka nagpapakamartyr?"
I didn't know what to answer then, but tonight, siguro eto ang sagot ko...
"Because noone fights for love anymore."
everyone's so addicted to security, that romance is left at the sidelines
that everyone's so contented with what they can easily get
rather than what is really meant for them
noone sacrifices anymore...
to love without return
to give without receiving
to care without being taken care of
to hope without proof
maybe its just me, but noone really talks as they did about love before

How Jesus reached out to you
"Greater love has noone than this, to give one's life for a friend."
Jesus died without expecting you to believe in Him
the least I could do...
is to try to love as He did.
Is it I? Anyway, the question serves as a gentle reminder to guard your heart. While, I admire your idealisms on Love, it also but astute to know what direction its leading. There might be someone else deserving of your sacrifices, at the same time can reciprocate in other ways.
It's going to be a long long journey, so hang on and enjoy the ride. Save some for yourself. As they say, before you can love others, you have to learn to love yourself.

tama ka diyan, bro.. love is always patient and kind.. doesn't evy, doesn't boest, isn't proud.. love is not rude,isn't self-seeking (which means, love never expect something in return).. isn't easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. love does not delight in evil (yeah, most of young people nowadays really misunderstood the real essence of love which lead the to give in to temptation or engage in some wicked ways just to possess someone) but rejoices with the truth. it always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. LOVE NEVER FAILS!!! ..and to the few who still take their time to sacrifice and love even more, God has really brought you up as good stewards and good followers.. and to you, bro, God is pleased in what you are doing! keep it up for His glory!=)
